Kites were flying high last Sunday at Kite Fest in West Chester, Ohio
This is the Chicago Kite Team. They were the headliners at the Kite Fest at VOA park in West Chester on Sunday April 6, 2008. It was amazing how they maneuvered their kites to dance across the sky with the music.
This was a family day for the Rossignol's. We started out at Miami University to participate in the 5K walk/run for the Joey Eger Memorial Scholarship fund that started at 2:00 pm. It was a beautiful day. Mary Jo and I walked the 3.1 miles in 60 minutes. Our daughters Jen & Steph ran it in 36 minutes. There was quite a bit of scenery along the way.
Then we went to the Kite Fest at VOA Park in West Chester. It was the first time to attend this event. WOW...that was really exciting. So many different kites and what a show. There were a lot of people with and without kites. Some brought there pets.
Then it was back home and back to plan my next day of work. So people often ask..."You work all the time don't you?" The answer is NO! We do take time off to be with family and friends. I like to play music in my band BlueStone Ivory and the West Chester Symphony Orchestra. We like to visit with our grandson and granddaughter. To go and watch them play soccer or most recently watch Brianna in a play she was in.
Mary and I are planning to go on a 4 day cruise and spend 4 days in Miami Florida later this year. So the answer is NO we don't work all the time...Just a lot of the time.
God bless you and pray for our troops.
