It's Saturday and one last full day to spend on Key West. We need to check out of the Marriott and head south Tomorrow morning. We decided to spend the day at the beach and pool.
We started out by walking up the beach about 1.5 miles and then back again.
These are some samples of real estate along the beach. Then there are a few other types of real estate...check out the sand castles built by some young children on the beach that day.
I especially enjoyed the "Footprints In The Sand". These remind me of the world renound poem of the same name.

Then I wanted to walk across the bridge of the main road Rt 708 that connects Singer Island and West Palm Beach. We can get a good look at Peanut Island from that vantage point. The locals love to fish off the bridge and pier. The city is especially beautiful this time of night. It was absolutely stunning to say the least.
We ended up the eveing eating at a very floridian style of restaurant. It was recommended by the concierge of the Marriott Resort. It was called the "The Islander Grill & Tiki Bar". It was surrounded by Peanut Island water taxis, fishing boats and various other water fun things to do like ski boats and parasailing. Oh, the last photo is Mary Jo with the great rental car we had for the week thanks to Hertz Car Rental.
God Bless You and pray for our troops to come home safe and for our Country leaders to make the right choices to help us get through this turmoil.
