Each year some of Cincinnati premier home builders / members of Cincinnati Home Builders Association (HBA) show off their prize possessions at an event called Homearama. Last year Homearama 2008 was in Long Cove from June 7 - 22 for the second straight year. There were 10 homes showcased. These are the elite of the industry. Most homes are priced out of the reach for most of the attendees who paid $12.00 admission to spend a few hours and walk through these marvelous show pieces.
This year the 49th annual edition of HOMEARAMA was really up in the air if it was going to happen. Seems they now have a few builders willing to participate in the annual event and have agreed to provide Cincinnati with the traditional festival of homes. Not as many homes this year and admission is less. Only $9.00 admission to walk around and visit only five homes.
The builders participating are Drees, Fischer Homes, K Homes, LLC, John Henry Homes and High Pointe Custom Homes. This year Homearama will be September 12 - 27 and will be in Mason at Carmelle off State Rt 741 near Kings Mills Road.
I happened to be in the neighborhood and of course had my Nikon D70 ready to show you what HOMEARAMA looks like in the beginning stages.
