Saturday May 16, 2009 was an exciting day in the lives of the Rossignol family. Especially for my 22 year old daughter Jennifer. She graduated from Columbus College of Art and Design (CCAD). Jennifer called me on the phone last Friday and said "Dad, I just walk out of school for the last time". I asked her how she felt about it and she said she was sad and happy all at the same time.
Columbus Collage of Art & Designfounded in 1879 is a private, four-year degree-granting institution of higher education. The commencement was held at Ohio Theatre that was designed by Scottish-born Thomas White Lamb in 1927. Lamb also deigned the original Madison Square Garden, the Albee in Cincinnati and the Palace in Columbus as well as many other theaters around the world. In 1978, the Ohio Theatre was declared a National Historic Landmark, placed on the National Register of Historic Places and named the "Official Theatre for the State of Ohio."
Jennifer Renee graduated with a major in Advertising & Graphic Design. She finished with a 3.4 GPA (all A's and one B).

Then we all went out to eat at PF Chang's at the Easton Mall and that ended our little trip to Columbus.
What is Jennifer going to do now? Well, we are going back to Columbus to gather all her worldly possessions and moving her back home in West Chester. She is applying and interviewing with several companies. Jennifer is very talented and focused and I am sure she will land a decent job, hopefully in the Cincinnati area in packaging design of some sort. That is what she wants to do.
So if anyone is looking for a career oriented young lady that is very talented in design please contact me.
